Job summary

We are looking fora Kitchen Supervisor to work at our bakery located in London, Brick Lane

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience as a kitchen supervisor or manager. Although this roll will involve baking and decorating cakes, we won’t accept unexperienced bakers or self-taught bakers for this position  

Roles and responsibilities

Your main role will be to support our head baker on the duties of supervising the correct functioning of our production kitchen and making sure all procedures and products meet our required standards

Within your daily duties you will find:

  • Cooking and preparation of cakes, cupcakes, pastries and other items

  • Decorating and finishing cakes, cupcakes and other items

  • Cleaning and maintaining your baking area as neat as possible and making sure the rest of the team does this on time

  • Counting stock and recording stocks levels

  • Ordering ingredients

  • Emptying and storing packaged ingredients

  • Assisting the head baker with the production and quality of all online orders, wholesale orders as well as large productions for festivals and events

  • Maintaining and sanitising your baking tools, machinery and utensils and assisting staff with it

  • Assisting with any other cooking and food preparation

  • Training new members of the team

Also, it will be ideal if you have a food safety certificate (level 2, at least)


  • £9.90 to £12 rate per hour depending on your experience and performance
